How I resign to my job in Singapore

Goodbyes are the hardest part in a relationship.

Its never easy to bid farewell to people you spend most of your time with; be it in your workplace, school, community of friends, family or loved ones. As for me, I tendered my resignation just recently at Hwa Chong International School as a Laboratory Technician.

Technically, my last day is January 14, 2018 but its on a Sunday, so my last working day was January 12, 2018.

3 STRONG YEARS!

I will never forget my working experience in this school. Its not just a workplace for me, but a HOME.

A home where my SINGAPORE LIFE story begun. A home where my memories created. A home where I gained my Singaporean REAL FRIENDS! A home where love resides and friends get along. A home where workmates respect your principle and culture. A home where my feet will leave but my heart will remain.

My last day, I can say, was fun. I needed to get some signatures of important faculty/admin heads for clearance purposes. I started the day by sending them my final email using my HCIS mail.

Then I started gathering signatures. In between, I made sure to say goodbye to some teachers and other admin staff. I even went to their classrooms to say goodbye. It was heart breaking at some point but I felt relieved by their awesome words of encouragement and how I affected their lives somehow.
